Popasna is a small town in the Luhansk region. With a population of 22 thousand inhabitants. Once, an important point in the railway junction of Ukraine. An object of strategic importance.
In 2017, French artist Julien Maland, also known as Seth Globepainter, arrives to Popasna to create murals on the walls of the school distorted by shells. In his paintings, the artist argues with logic trying to create art in a place where the process of destruction has not stopped yet. In the place where life has a constant and threatening reminder of death. He believes that his work will help to tip the scales.
